As we all know spring can sometimes be rather unpredictable in the Mid-Atlantic U.S. in the weather department. This week has not disappointed if you enjoy frequent weather swings (& for me the subsequent mood swings that accompany them). It has been all over the place and it's only Thursday! Today we had righteous thunderstorms, hail, crazy lightning. Nothing abnormal for this time of year. Tomorrow I have to head to the western part of Maryland where.......... it's supposed to snow 2-4". Geez. Hopefully this will be it for Old Man Winter!
Even through the crazy weather this week - and at times it has been quite nice to be honest - I've managed to still be able to stop, take it all in, and admire. Admire not only the beauty but the sheer awesome power of Mother Nature. Sometimes it's kind of nice to put things into perspective. And watching the weather will surely make you realize your place in the overall scheme of the world. We are pretty insignificant individually - yet as a whole we are an amazing force (often in a negative manner sadly). Lately I've made it a point to take it in. Beautiful days, stormy days, cold, warm - whatever comes our way. So here are just a few shots I got this week. Hope you enjoy and thank you as always for taking your time to read.
