Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in the Summer

Got the chance to get back to one of my favorite places anywhere.. Blackwater. With temps in the 90's and high humidity there was not a lot of wildlife out and about. We did get to see some though; highlighted by a huge Bald Eagle swooping by at close range. And you guessed it. I did not have my camera in hand! Got to see hundreds of Red Winged Black Birds and quite a few Osprey as well. Not to mention the overcast did make for a couple cool pictures of the water and surroundings. Hope you enjoy these!
