There are several places and photos I still need to share with you; and I am working to get some photos organized etc. Life is busy and in time I will get all of them shared. This post, however, is just about today.... March 21, 2018. Supposedly the first FULL day of spring. Well it has been a winter wonderland instead. Yes we are all ready for nicer weather. Although truth be told (my opinion) we did not have a particularly harsh winter - just 3 very frigid weeks in Dec. - Jan. Looking back it's really been 2 full years since we've had a significant snow such as what we've had the past 2 days. So rather than wish for warm weather (which we all know will come soon enough and then we'll complain about the heat and humidity) - I decided to get out and just enjoy the day. Thankfully I had the day off from work to enable me to do this. My youngest son was with me (with GoPro in hand) so in addition to the pictures (taken with my Nikon D5500) he got some GoPro footage as well which I already uploaded. So I hope you enjoy these pictures. Peaceful does not begin to describe how it was out in the woods surrounded in a sea of white. Thanks as always for following along!
